A weekend away- Allanspark, Colorado

So, by now you can see that we didn't sit much during our trip. After going non-stop for two weeks it was time for a little rest and relaxation. Our friends, The Bradley's, offered for us to use their families cabin in the mountains and it was so wonderful. We played outside, went for hikes, made smores, rode horses, walked around Estes Park, and just enjoyed getting away from everything. We left on Thursday and Papou and Jill came up to hang out on Saturday. As you can tell from the pictures, we loved being there and would certainly jump at the chance to go back.
Beautiful rainbow we saw when we first arrived

Picking wild flowers

Kids on a hike

Playing in the house

Beautiful mountain church.  The Pope has visited here.

Awww... we love Colorado.  Look at Henry's scruff.

Trailhead of Longs Peak- one of the many 14ers in Colorado

Enjoying ice cream in Estes Park

Smores... yum-o

Being silly... that's what we do best

Daddy and C-man in Estes Park

Horse riders (the girls rode too, but we didn't have to hold kids)

In the land of the nose pickers... it's so dry that you always feel like you need to pick your nose.

Hiking again.  It was a beautiful day.

Chilling out on the rocks

Her true colors are shinning through.  And she is wearing Carter's shorts because I didn't pack her any.

Driving up Trail Ridge Road at one of the pull offs.

Getting ready to hike to the top.  It was COLD up there.

Top of the world... or rather 12,000 feet above sea level.  It was beautiful up there.
