Friedman Boys Visit

We were so lucky to have Jon and the Boys come to visit for a few days.  Katie and I always talked about how much fun it would be to have the kids all play together and be best friends.  Well, she may not be here to see it but they are!  The little guys jumped right in and hung out with no weirdness at all and Addie loved "mothering" Quinn all week. 

Tuesday morning Henry had to work so Jon and I took the kids to Riverview Farm Park to let them play and run off some energy.  Clark and Carter loved these little cars and couldn't get enough of them.  Quinn was so brave and tried some of the bigger climbing toys that even the bigger boys wouldn't go on!  When Henry got home we took the gang to the beach.  Last summer Clark wasn't 100% sure about the water but Addie and Carter peer pressured him into splashing with them and the three of them had a blast. 

Wednesday we took the whole crew to Busch Gardens for the day.  I wish I would have known that it was spring break for the south side schools because the place was crowded!  Clark LOVED Elmo so Elmo land was a huge hit.  We weren't sure how he would respond to the Elmo drop ride but he loved it and had a blast. 

After a busy two days we decided to lay low today and hang around the house.  They played outside in the blue car, in the sand box, and in the play house.  It was a perfect down day.

Friday we went out to the flight line early to watch Henry's demo practice and then the Friedman clan hit the road for DC to spend time with his brother.  We are so thankful Jon decided to make the trip and look forward to making it an annual thing.
