Teddy Bear Picnic

My friend from Florida, Marin, is probably one of the most creative mom's I know and she plans these fabulous theme days for her kids.  It just so happened that we were able to attend her Teddy Bear theme day because we were driving up to Baltimore to go to Dan and Liz's wedding shower.  We got to her house in Woodbridge and she had made the kids lunch- teddy bears sandwiches with jelly and cream cheese (she's a fellow peanut free mom) and berries.  They then got to decorate these ADORABLE cookies to look like bumble bees and made "paw" prints in molds.

After all of that they had a parade with their bears.  Marin even got Addie some pom poms to decorate her "float" with.

The finale of the play date was a trip to the movies to watch Winnie the Pooh.  It was SO. DARN. CUTE!  Totally age appropriate and just the right length.

Thanks Marin, Liam, Connor, and Caitlin for a super fun day!!!

We are so glad you could come! We had fun, despite the chaos of having to hold the whole shebang inside :)
