Sophie and Ben visit

About a year ago our dear friends, The Lear's, moved from Panama City to Peachtree City, GA. We actually met them for the first time at the David Weekley sales center when we were down house hunting in July of 2007. We reconnected at the library story hour in January of 2008, and became fast friends. Addie and Sophie connected right away and Hannah and I discovered we had tons of things in common.

Not long after starting to hang out we found out that we were both pregnant with boys and looked forward to having girls and boys the same age. In April of 2009 they found out that Michael had been offered a wonderful job in Georgia and they relocated a few weeks later. We were so sad to see them go but have done a great job of staying in touch.

This past week Hannah brought the kids down for a visit and we had SO much fun. Addie and Sophie are two of the girliest girls I've ever met and they spent hours playing makeup. You'll notice in the pictures they are wearing matching flowers in their hair compliments of Claire's Boutique in the mall and Hannah. They also have matching flip flops that light up as they walk. These are our first light up shoes and they are a BIG hit. The girls were so cute... they would walk around in the dark glancing back to see their shoes flash.

Carter and Ben are also two peas in a pod. They are so sweet and laid back (unlike their sisters, the laid back part that is) and love all things boy... trains, cars, and dirt. They are our super eaters and just laughed the whole time.

We're hoping for another visit or two with their sweet family before we move and we're already planning a reunion in VA sometime this fall. What a blessing they have been and who would have thought we would make life long friends in a home sales center? It just goes to show you never know who are are going to meet and when.
